This Bocerno virgin walnut oil is made from a single French organic walnut variety: Franquette.
Thanks to its slight bitterness and its persistent aromas of fresh walnut and pine nut, the Franquette expresses a perfect gustatory balance. Franquette virgin walnut oil can be used as a cold or hot seasoning, ideal with your cheeses, salads, vegetables, gratins, velvets, poke bowls, carpaccios, grilled meats, raw and cooked fish.
To preserve their flavors and their ideal proportion in Omega-3 compared to Omega-6, the kernels are only slightly heated before the press for an extraction of the oil known as cold.
