Hand-woven in Morocco from sturdy palm leaf, this generous basket is fitted with soft leather straps and metal buckles that turn it into a backpack, leaving both hands free for flowers, bread, or a second bag. The straps adjust, so it sits comfortably whether worn loose over a coat or close to the back.

Take it to the farmers' market, to the beach, or on a Saturday morning bike ride. The weave is robust enough for a full load of produce and will withstand a little rain, simply let it dry thoroughly in the sun afterwards.

The slightly uneven edge along the top is intentional: the mark of a basket made by hand, and part of its charm.
